Implementing smart weee collection solutions
Aiming to increase the collection performance of small WEEE and to evaluate the possibility of preparation for reuse of collected appliances, ECODOM participates to InnoWEEE project. InnoWEEE will test the effectiveness of innovative pilot collection activities.
Voluntary certification scheme for sustainable weee treatment
The certification of WEEE transport, treatment and collection activities can increase the sustainability of the supply chain of Critical Raw Materials: ECODOM will contribute to demonstrate this through the CEWASTE project research initiatives.
Circular products and services driven by industry 4.0
C-SERVEES project shapes a future where resources will be managed more efficiently and devices used in everyday life will be produced, used and recovered following circular business models.
Never stop learning
Training professionals to create innovation: the CARONTE project provides the right tools to achieve this goal. CARONTE will develop educational programs to improve the information literacy skills of researchers.
Collect more, collect better
To increase the recovery of Critical Raw Materials as cobalt, graphite e platinum, ECODOM takes part to the European project CRM Closed Loop Recovery putting in practice innovative methods for the WEEE collection and treatment.
The european expert network on Critical Raw Material
Establishing an European Expert Network that covers the whole value chain for current and future critical raw materials, SCRREEN aims to strengthen Europe’s critical raw material strategy: this should enable innovative solutions to turn into technology breakthroughs, substitution options and new resources identification.
PolyCE: give a second life to weee plastics
Through collaboration with various actors in the field of e-waste, including businesses, policy makers, NGOs, and consumers, PolyCE is set to demonstrate the feasibility of a circular model for the WEEE plastics supply and value chain.
Innovative approaches to waste collection systems
The COLLECTORS project aims to identify and highlight good practice of waste collection and sorting to gather better insights into their overall performance and to support decision makers in shifting to better-performing system with tailored instructions per type of location.
Learn about raw materials
Closely collaborating with other RM@SCHOOLS project partners, ECODOM contributes to disseminate issues related to raw materials themes in schools: students will be actively involved in several activities designed to foster interest toward science and to strengthen their creative thinking skills.
